My LIVE player displays the image in an incorrect aspect ratio when playing in full screen. Why is that?

In almost all cases the reason is either:

1. The aspect ratio in the source of the stream (in your capture devices such as cameras)

2. The aspect ratio changed by processing devices (such as live-switchers, video converters)

3. The output aspect ratio in your live-encoder (parameters, settings in your encoder)

The aspect ratio needs to be continuous and identical across all your devices - the entire chain - from cameras, to switchers, to capture devices, video processors and live-encoder. If any device modifies the aspect ratio and it ends up being different from your player’s aspect ratio, the result will not be perfect. Please note that you can configure your player with 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio.

If you make sure that your live-stream has a minimum resolution of 720x1280 for HD delivery in 16:9 ratio and your player is set to 16:9, you should see excellent results - even in full-screen mode.
