Is there a limit on how many videos can be published on Roku within the same VOD Channel (playlist)

Yes, there is a limit on the amount of videos displayed within a VOD Channel. It is currently 150 videos per VOD Channel. The reason for the limitation is that some older Roku devices and devices with lower CPU's would not be able to handle a larger amount of videos without sacrificing usability and loading time (loading of 150+ thumbnails, metadata on one page, in one list). Another reason is that the navigation inside the Channel would become very difficult for a viewer if there are hundreds of videos displayed in one and the same VOD Channel.

We recommend to either separate the videos in different topics or categories using VOD Channels, or to sub-categorize your VOD Channel with Sub-Channels or Media Groups. This way the navigation and loading time is much more user-friendly.
