I am trying to verify the "per minute" bandwidth usage. How do I read the stats correctly?

Please keep in mind that viewing stats are usually posted in accounts and stats centers within 5 hours. Views and Video Minutes used can be posted to your account and to your Video Stats Center independently. If you are testing with videos in your public channels, please keep in mind that:

a. Your videos can receive simultaneous views on your websites, on CROSS.TV, on your online media campus, on Roku or other outlets you are publishing to.

b. Your videos may have already been embedded on third-party websites if you allowed the re-embedding of your VOD Channels or of individual videos.

c. There are other sources which can accumulate views and use bandwidth - posted to your Video Stats Center and to your channels with a slight delay. (see related Knowledgebase Articles)

All of these factors need to be taken into consideration when attempting to verify Lightcast's ultra-transparent "per minute" bandwidth accounting. Please keep in mind that most CDNs and OVPs account for bandwidth in Gigabytes transferred, which cannot be verified - especially not with retro-active overage charges for usage during previous months. Lightcast's Video Minute Accounting sets a new standard of transparency in the industry, by giving clients more control and more insight in how their bandwidth packages are being used. This is a very new concept and raises the standard in the industry. Please use the Knowledgebase resources to read more about it.
