Lightcast integrated ad feeds into our publishing properties but we do not see any video ads when watching the content. Why is that?

Once the ad feed is integrated into a publishing property such as on ConnectedTV Apps, embedded website players, mobile apps or other properties, ad fees have to learn the inventory first in order to be consistent, and target appropriately to optimize the fill rate. Ad networks usually suggest 25k-50k requests a day for about a month or two. With less than 100 requests a day (especially when in the first quarter), a live tag will often have a very little fill rate. This might be the reason why there aren’t a whole lot of video ads running through your publishing properties in the beginning. You will see more video ads if the requests/day increases. 

That said, we recommend to market your publishing properties and increase your viewership to increase the fill rate. This way your requests/day will be higher and the ad fill rate better, thus you receive more ad revenue.
