My Control Center looks distorted and I have a hard time reading and view some of the objects. Is the Lightcast website malfunctioning?”

There is a variety of reasons for why your particular browser may display Lightcast’s GUI (Graphical User Interface) incorrectly. The most common reason is the customizable font-size magnification of certain browsers, such as Safari. Please check your browser settings in regards to magnifying font size and set it back to use the default, website-defined font-size. Just like most other websites, also Lightcast.com has defined font sizes within its website’s code, optimized for the graphical user interface.

What happens if you set your browser to magnify font sizes on websites? Well, on certain websites, such as news sites, blog sites and other text-heavy, article-style pages it might work and simply increase the font-size. But on graphical user interfaces, such as the Lightcast Control Center, the enlarged text display of your browser may create unwanted line-breaks, re-arranging graphical objects such as images, resulting in the overlapping of objects, thus in a visual distortion of the overall look and in certain objects even malfunctioning in a worst case.

See Screenshot on how you can change the font size on an iMAC (iOS Yosemite 10.10.1) when using the Safari browser (Safari Version 8.0.2):
